BURNING DESIRE
The cascading roar of the waterfalls
The sound of thunder from afar
Listening to the steady pounding of the drums
Watching the blazing trail of a falling star
Eyes opening wider now
Ears straining harder still to hear
When like an eagle circling in the sky
Searching becomes perfectly clear
Drawn like a moth to a flame
Close enough to feel the heat
Burning desire for His Word
Longing for eyes to one day meet
Time is standing still now
Like every breath has been put on hold
Heart's rythym is on a mission
A clearer view yet to unfold
There's no place like Home, Lord
With You is where I long to be
Journey here is almost over
I've seen all I care to see
So weary, Lord, and thirsty
To drink from The Living Well
I'll meet You in the air, Lord
With You forever more to dwell

There's a song in my heart
When the new day begins
No room for mistakes
So I will shout His name in wonder
Those who have ears .. will hear me

COULD ANYONE ASK
FOR ANYTHING MORE
Pink clouds show off their reflections
As they drift by agelessly
Soft breezes gently stirring
Waves lapping at the shore
Children running to and fro
Could anyone ask for anything more
Then a Guitar Man starts picking
An old familiar tune
And a mandolin, chimes right in
As a singer begins to croon
I can only imagine
What it'll be like on that other shore
When He takes me by the hand
And walks me through that golden sand
I won't remember
Anything that came before
Eyes closed, listening
To nature at it's best
Birds circling ore the water
Before they head home to their nest
My heart is filled with longing
To see my heavenly home
Celestial choirs will be singing
I'll be home at last
Never, evermore to roam

I AM JUST A SHADOW
I am just a shadow
Gliding down some lonely roads
Following in His footsteps
For I am just a shadow

SHADOWS ON THE WATER
Shadows on the water
Soft breezes gently stirring
Then a Guitar Man starts picking
I can only imagine
Eyes closed, listening
My heart is filled with longing

MY LORD AND ME
Lying down in a meadow
Like velvet beneath my head
Listening to the Angels sing
Colors so brilliant
Then I see Him walking towards me
All I can do, is bow before Him
Now I can walk beside Him

HE'LL RAISE YOU OUT OF THAT VALLEY
Going down in the valley
With Him by my side
Many miles we have traveled
He's held me close when I've cried
I've had losses with heartache
Feelings of being ripped apart
He never took His eyes off me
He kept His hand on my heart
He was always there to lean on
Through the good and the bad
His Love never changes
Whether happy or sad
He'll stay with you in your valleys
And hold you up when you fall
He'll raise you out of that valley
No matter how big or small
Open up to His Presence
Receive the joy that He gives
Welcome Him with Thanksgiving
Share the Good News that He Lives

THE SON
IS RISING
The Son is rising above the clouds
The night is turning into day
The fog is lifting from my eyes
The colors I see now
Are no longer grey.
My mind travels back
To a time long ago
When the Bible was believed
When we read that you reap what you sow.
It seems we all take for granted
The words of our King
For when we follow our own will
His Words don't mean a thing.
CHORUS:
I speak the truth
That He laid on my heart
Conviction weighs heavy
When I too take part
In gossip and judgement
That is not mine to give
So I surrender my will
Because I do want to live
And be pleasing in His sight
So I will try with all my might
To honor and obey the one true God above
I won't let anything come between me
And Him that I love.
The Lord giveth
And He taketh away
When He sent His Son Jesus
He knew that He could not stay
The gift that He gave us
Had to die on the Cross
Showing how much He loved us
No matter the cost.
REPEAT CHORUS:
The Lord giveth and He taketh away
When He sent His Son Jesus
He knew that He could not stay.
I won't let anything come between me
And Him that I love.
Rom 8:39............ "(Nothing can)
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
